world youth day 2008 held in sydney australia the past week has been extremely inspiring, faith rejuvenating and truely a testimony to the manifestation of the holy spirit. despite having been unable to attend, very tragically due to school commitments, following up with the modern day pilgrimage over the net has touched me in many personal ways including a reinvitation to receive His spirit and thus the strength to shine forth as a light onto the world. More significantly, it has made me ever so proud to be part of the big Catholic family spread throughout the world, yet led in unity by one sheppard.
hearing from those who went such as aly, meixia, nick, fr val, etc about their experiences and viewing their photos has made me really jealous! hahaha. nonetheless i am glad wyd08 has been impactful in many ways to us christians everywhere and i thank God for blessing us with such a meaningful event and the many reconciliations that took place during the time of wyd08.
im looking forward to the next wyd at madrid, spain in 2011. die die also must go then! LOL.
